Our Reading aim:
Our aim is to make reading enjoyable, engaging and meaningful so that children have positive experiences of reading, gaining powerful skills for future use. We strive to make reading interesting - extending children’s knowledge and broadening their comprehension and fluency by providing a wide range of high-quality, inspiring texts that are appropriately challenging. Our classrooms are filled with books in which pupils can see themselves and feel like they belong, but also that show them a glimpse into the wider world.
